Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Midrange Abzan "Legendary Matters" and +1/+1 counter synergy build, utilizing the partner pairing of Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful. The strategy focuses on deploying a high density of legendary permanents to rapidly grow Yoshimaru while using Reyhan to ensure that +1/+1 counters remain on the battlefield even after board wipes or targeted removal. The deck leverages a "God tribal" subtheme, utilizing indestructible threats like Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Erebos, Bleak-Hearted to provide both devotion-based utility and resilient attackers. Win conditions primarily involve overwhelming combat damage through massive creatures, supplemented by the "Ultimate End" of Summon: Knights of Round or the "Mega Flare" of Summon: Bahamut. The deck excels at maintaining a persistent board presence, using cards like The Ozolith and Host of the Hereafter to consolidate power and punish opponents for interacting with its creatures.
