Deck overview

This mono-black attrition deck leverages Olinda the Oblivious to turn opponents' creatures into ticking time bombs. Olinda places odor counters on opposing creatures whenever she enters or attacks, causing those controllers to lose 2 life at their upkeeps permanently. To ensure opponents always have valid targets to receive odor counters, the deck introduces token generators like Akroan Horse, Genesis Chamber, and Slaughter Specialist. A suite of death-trigger protection spells like Feign Death and Undying Malice allows Olinda to survive combat and removal while triggering additional enter-the-battlefield odor placements. Once odor counters accumulate across opposing boards, damage doublers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection exponentially speed up life loss, and finishers like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Exsanguinate close out the table.
