Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy led by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. It combines Ape and Monkey tribal synergies with pervasive artifact destruction. Kibo acts as an engine piece that gifts Banana tokens to every player and weaponizes their destruction, placing +1/+1 counters across your entire board whenever any opponent loses an artifact. Backed by hyper-efficient ramp like Three Visits and Nature's Lore, the deck rapidly fields its commander alongside potent tribal threats like Hit-Monkey and Taurean Mauler. Mass removal spells such as Meltdown and overloaded Vandalblast clear the board of opposing artifacts while exponentially pumping your attackers. Draw engines like Viridian Revel and Return of the Wildspeaker keep hand sizes full, while protection cards like Heroic Intervention and Deflecting Swat safeguard your combat steps. It wins through overwhelming, trample-enabled combat damage across turns 7 and 8.
