Atarka by FlubbWubb

Format: Commander

Commander: Atarka, World Render

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Atarka, World Render is the finisher of a Gruul Dragon beatdown deck. The deck ramps with artifacts and Dragon-cost reducers, then deploys high-power Dragons that turn combat into a lethal swing once Atarka grants double strike. Secondary routes cheat Dragons into play with Zirilan of the Claw, Doors of Durin, or Dracogenesis, and extra combat from Scourge of the Throne or Desert Were-Worm doubles the clock. Damage multipliers such as Twinflame Tyrant and Fiery Emancipation can end games in a single attack step. The commander is not an engine; the deck functions without her, but she converts a wide board into a very short clock. There is no hidden commander.
