Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter, an engine commander capable of converting artifact creatures into Treasure tokens and noncreature artifacts into Construct tokens. The deck plays out as an artifact-based aristocrats strategy, combining token generation with death-trigger payoffs like Marionette Apprentice, Disciple of the Vault, and Mayhem Devil. While it houses explosive potential through infinite untap loops using Clock of Omens paired with Liquimetal Torque or Liquimetal Coating, the list runs zero high-velocity tutors to assemble these pieces directly. Instead, it relies on incremental advantage from sacrifice-draw spells and resilient recursion pieces like Scrap Trawler and Altar of Bhaal. With a low land count and minimal fast mana, the deck trades blistering competitive speed for resilient casual synergy, grinding opponents down before finishing with a sudden burst of drain damage or an army of Construct tokens.
