Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard-landfall strategy commanded by Teval, the Balanced Scale. It accelerates early with efficient mana rocks and land ramp before deploying Teval to establish a self-sustaining resource loop. Attacking with Teval mills cards, ramps lands directly from the graveyard to the battlefield, and generates 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The deck fills its graveyard with high-impact creatures and utilities like Wonder and Life from the Loam. It converts this graveyard mass into victory through large reanimation targets such as Lord of Extinction and Consuming Aberration, wide token swarms from Avenger of Zendikar and Scute Swarm, or direct life-drain bursts using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Syr Konrad, the Grim. While resilient against standard permanent removal through deep recursion, the deck is vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile and lacks counterspells to disrupt opposing non-permanent combos.
