Jenova, The Reunion by sergington

Format: Commander

Commander: Jenova, Ancient Calamity

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Jenova, Ancient Calamity is a Golgari counter-aristocrat engine. The deck grows a Mutant or Jenova itself each combat, then sacrifices that Mutant to draw cards equal to its power, while The Ozolith and cheap counter doublers multiply the size every turn. The primary win is converting a huge creature into a wide zombie army with Ghoulcaller Gisa and finishing with Craterhoof Behemoth; a secondary path uses Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance to drain during sacrifice chains. Meren, Reanimate, and Woe Strider provide recursion. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; the deck wins through counter scaling and combat/trigger arithmetic.
