Deck overview

This deck is an Esper spellslinger and attrition midrange list commanded by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The strategy focuses on chaining noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater to simultaneously drain the table and buffer your life total, while triggering end-step card draw whenever 4 or more life is lost. A suite of legendary creatures and job equipments from the Scions of the Seventh Dawn provides wide token generation, cost reduction, and combat evasion. While the deck boasts robust spot removal and resilient midrange value, it foregoes fast infinite combos and heavy stax in favor of compounding incremental advantage. It comfortably stabilizes the midgame before closing out the table around turn 9 through wide token assaults, cumulative drain triggers, or an uncounterable finishing spell.
