Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is helmed by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider and focuses on maximizing value and damage through playing cards from exile. The strategy revolves around deploying Gwen early, accelerating with two-mana rocks, and transforming her into Ghost-Spider on Turn 4 or 5. Once active, Ghost-Spider converts every exile-cast spell into permanent power and fresh cards. The rest of the deck is densely packed with impulse draw effects like Expressive Iteration and Valakut Exploration, alongside potent payoff engines like Passionate Archaeologist, The War Doctor, and Quintorius Kand. Victory is achieved by combining evasive commander combat with direct burn from casting exiled cards. While the deck boasts immense card velocity and strong redundancy, it operates without infinite combos or hard locks, making it an interactive, fair mid-power build that must defend its creature-heavy board state across multiple turn cycles to close the game.
