Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Roon of the Hidden Realm alongside dedicated flicker engines to generate compounding enter-the-battlefield card advantage, mana velocity, and board control. Early turns establish low-cost ramp pieces and defensive cantrip creatures like Wall of Blossoms and Coiling Oracle. In the mid-game, the deck deploys powerful asymmetric engines including Teleportation Circle, Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, and Aura Shards to control opposing resources while digging deeply through the library. The primary win condition is an infinite mana loop using Emiel the Blessed and Peregrine Drake, which draws the entire deck and closes the game immediately via Finale of Devastation, Craterhoof Behemoth, or full permanent theft with Agent of Treachery. Defensive instants like Teferi's Protection and Dovin's Veto safeguard key windows.
