Serp Society slop by Firago

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society leads a Golgari deathtouch swarm that wins by poison. The commander is a sticky deathtouch blocker with Ward-get five poison counters, and its death trigger forces opponents to sacrifice creatures whenever your other deathtouch creatures die. The real engine is Fynn, the Fangbearer, who turns every deathtouch hit into two poison counters; five attackers end one opponent per turn. Secondary lines use toxic/infect, death-drain synergies, and Rise of the Dark Realms. The deck is combat-focused, light on counterspells, and needs Fynn alive to close games, so it protects him with a dozen instant-speed tricks and recursion.
