Full Moon by Pocketsand

Format: Commander

Commander: Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tovolar, Dire Overlord is a Gruul werewolf aggro deck built around the front face: Tovolar turns combat damage into cards and flips the board to night, while the back face provides a mana-sink pump for the final swing. The primary plan is to flood the board with Wolves and Werewolves, draw through Tovolar, then finish with a mass pump (Beastmaster Ascension, Shared Animosity, Unnatural Growth) or Triumph of the Hordes. Secondary paths use Finale of Devastation to tutor a finisher, extra combat from Aggravated Assault/Savage Beating, and token generation from Huntmaster, Mayor, and Hollowhenge Overlord. There is no hidden commander; Arlinn and Ulrich are support pieces.
