Ivy copy, clone and mutate by user1071701

Format: Commander

Commander: Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief is the engine of a UG enchantment-matters tempo deck. The commander copies every spell that targets a single non-Ivy creature, and the deck supplies that trigger with Auras, mutate creatures, and a handful of one-shot targeted spells. Usually a second creature-Venerated Rotpriest or Stormchaser Drake-receives the original spell while Ivy gets a free copy; Aura copies become tokens on Ivy, and mutate copies become extra creature tokens rather than extra mutations. No hidden commander or background exists. Secondary paths include a Venerated Rotpriest poison kill, a Vesuvan Duplimancy token build, and a Freed from the Real + Gyre Engineer + Sanctum Weaver infinite-mana outlet into Giggling Skitterspike/Tyvar's Stand.
