Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jeskai aggro strategy built around Captain America, Team Leader and the Hero creature type. The commander turns every subsequent Hero into an immediate threat by granting haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters upon entry. The deck curves low-cost utility Heroes into scalable value engines like Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler and Director Nick Fury. It accelerates toward critical combat onset around turn 5, deploying massive damage multipliers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Collective Inferno, or Akroma's Will to eliminate opponents across consecutive combat steps. A deep interactive package protects the board, featuring free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship alongside premier defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver. While reliant on combat damage, counter retention from The Ozolith and recursion from Wondrous Revival ensure strong recovery across longer games.
