Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon Tribal Midrange strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The primary game plan harnesses the commander's eminence ability to deploy formidable Dragons ahead of schedule, establishing explosive value engines through cards like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Dragon Tempest. On turns 5 and 6, the deck transitions from ramp and engine assembly to decisive offensive pressure, deploying game-ending flying beaters like Atarka, World Render, Terror of Mount Velus, and Hellkite Courser to eliminate opponents through massive aerial combat and direct enter-the-battlefield burn. While the deck possesses versatile spot removal and potent board wipes, its mana base features a high concentration of basic lands that requires careful color sequencing. Additionally, the lack of cheap stack interaction leaves it vulnerable to dedicated combo strategies. Nonetheless, redundant high-power threats, robust graveyard recovery with Aberrant Return, and overwhelming combat steps make this deck an enduring battlecruiser powerhouse.
