Deck overview

Led by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, this Selesnya deck pairs high-toughness token creation with explosive lifegain. Early turns prioritize mana acceleration via low-cost creatures and land searches to establish Trostani ahead of curve. The mid-game deploys potent token generators like Phyrexian Processor, Crested Sunmare, and Resplendent Angel, which trigger Trostani to refund massive life totals on entry. This lifegain fuels draw engines like Well of Lost Dreams and Sylvan Library while Trostani populates the largest tokens on board. By Turn 6, the deck converts its accumulated board presence and life buffer into a decisive win using overrun effects from Craterhoof Behemoth and Finale of Devastation, mass counter distribution from Archangel of Thune and Nykthos Paragon, or direct damage via Aetherflux Reservoir. Robust defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and Grand Crescendo shield the board from sweepers, while Aura Shards repeatedly clears opposing artifacts and enchantments.
