Deck overview

This four-color (WUBG) partners deck helms a toughness-matters shell with a lifegain-drain subtheme. The primary game plan is to deploy enablers like Arcades, the Strategist, Doran, the Siege Tower, or Assault Formation to let high-toughness creatures attack for lethal damage, while incidental lifegain triggers (from Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper, Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, or Rhox Faithmender) fuel card draw, counter distribution, and the deck's compact infinite combo: Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond. The two commanders are complementary-Ikra provides life-total padding and a stealthy combat damage trigger, while Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker grows into a flyer that pressures opponents as they cast spells. The deck can win through massive combat damage or a single drain loop, but it lacks tutors and reliable ways to assemble the combo, making it a mid-power value-combat strategy that rewards patience.
