Deck overview

This is a five-color battlecruiser-midrange deck centered on Jace, Multiverse Architect. Its main line uses early mana rocks and a token from Staff of the Storyteller or Bitterblossom, then turns that token into a large creature with Jace's -3 ability. The deck has strong individual payoffs, including Toxrill, the Corrosive, Archon of Cruelty, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Blightsteel Colossus. Jace, Multiverse Architect also provides repeatable card flow through +1. Its main limitations are random creature selection, singleton access, expensive threats, and a lack of counterspell-based protection. The deck can create severe creature attrition with Toxrill, the Corrosive and restrict combat or spell casting with cards such as Blazing Archon and Void Winnower, but these effects are not reliably assembled early. It can produce a threatening board around turn 6, yet it has no dependable route to eliminate all three opponents on a fixed clock.
