Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo and mill deck piloted by Bruvac the Grandiloquent. Its primary strategy is to accelerate Bruvac onto the battlefield on Turn 3 and immediately leverage his doubling static ability to execute an instantaneous table kill via a kicked Maddening Cacophony on Turn 5. Milling half of an opponent's library rounded up doubled results in 100% of their library being placed into the graveyard. Backing up this primary combo is a resilient engine of twenty Persistent Petitioners combined with Thrumming Stone, which allows the deck to ripple through its entire Advisor package to mill entire libraries in chunks of twenty-four cards. A potent suite of efficient blue counterspells, including Fierce Guardianship and Mana Drain, provides ample defense to protect Bruvac during the critical combo turn.
