Deck overview

This Simic deck uses Kenessos, Priest of Thassa to cheat massive Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, and Serpent creatures into play at instant speed. The primary plan relies on scry spells, topdeck fixers like Sensei's Divining Top and Mirri's Guile, and cost reducers like Training Grounds to stack high-impact sea monsters on top of the library. By Turn 4, Kenessos activates during opponent end steps to deploy colossal threats such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Hullbreaker Horror, and Spawning Kraken without paying their mana costs. The deck turns this board into a lethal combat clock by Turn 7, clearing blockers with one-sided bounce spells like Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets or granting evasion with Serpent of Yawning Depths. Counterspells and hexproof equipment protect key pieces during critical turns.
