Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Mono-Red Storm and combo build helmed by Birgi, God of Storytelling. The strategy leverages Birgi's mana refund ability on front, or Harnfel, Horn of Bounty on back, to turn low-cost cantrips and 0-mana spells into mana-positive engine fuel. Dense fast mana and rituals propel the deck into an explosive Turn 3 win attempt. The primary routes to victory include generating arbitrary storm count with Grinning Ignus to burn out the table with Grapeshot or Guttersnipe, looping spells with Underworld Breach, or creating infinite hasty attackers with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. Because the list dedicates most of its slots to velocity and red stack protection (Pyroblast, Deflecting Swat), it races opposing tables effectively but remains vulnerable to rule-of-law stax pieces and well-timed creature removal.
