Tom, Bert & William by Jules10

Format: Commander

Commander: Tom, Bert, and William

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari midrange aristocrats and power-matters deck helmed by Tom, Bert, and William. The plan centers on deploying high-power creatures, sacrificing them for massive card draw through the commander or Greater Good, and converting that advantage into table-wide drains or overwhelming combat. Yargle and Multani, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Lord of Extinction, and Daemogoth Titan supply the raw power, while Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Rite of Consumption, Psychosis Crawler, and Syr Konrad, the Grim turn deaths and draws into life loss. Recursion via Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Animate Dead, Reanimate, and Living Death keeps the engine online. The commander itself is a sticky sac outlet that returns as an artifact, providing reliable card selection. Secondary lines include Protean Hulk death triggers and discard payoffs like Bone Miser and Monument to Endurance. The deck wins through attrition and oversized threats rather than ultra-fast combo.
