Deck overview

This Gruul Landfall deck utilizes Omnath, Locus of Rage as both an overwhelming token engine and a lethal burn deterrent. The primary strategy accelerates through dense early-game ramp spells such as Farseek, Nature's Lore, and Cultivate, aiming to deploy Omnath or redundant landfall payoffs like Rampaging Baloths and Titania, Protector of Argoth ahead of curve by Turn 5. Once established, explosive land-drop enablers like Skyshroud Claim, Harrow, and Splendid Reclamation generate a massive army of 5/5 Elemental tokens on Turn 6. The deck converts this board presence into a lethal finish across Turns 7 and 8 through combat overrun effects including End-Raze Forerunners, Overrun, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, or by sweeping the board with Blasphemous Act to direct lethal death triggers at opposing life totals. While the deck possesses explosive ramp and heavy combat pressure, it relies heavily on natural draws due to a lack of nonland tutors and remains vulnerable to targeted exile and board wipes.
