Deck overview

This is a political midrange deck helmed by Breena, the Demagogue, built around small evasive creatures, +1/+1 counter synergies, and combat-triggered card advantage. The primary game plan is to deploy a low-to-ground threat base, goad opponents into attacking each other for Breena's triggers, and accumulate incremental value through Tymna the Weaver, Dark Confidant, Necropotence, and Esper Sentinel. The deck packs a robust recursion package (Animate Dead, Persist, Ruthless Technomancer, Sheoldred // The True Scriptures) and a flexible tutor suite to find key pieces. Win conditions include overwhelming combat from Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite or a Marionette Master drain fueled by treasures from Smothering Tithe and Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff. It also runs a disruptive "steal your cards" subtheme with Opposition Agent, Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, and Predators' Hour.
