Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Gruul Turbo build centered around Etali, Primal Conqueror. The core plan aggressively accelerates on early turns through mana dorks, depletion lands, and explosive rituals such as Orcish Lumberjack, Geosurge, and Treasonous Ogre to cast Etali on Turn 3. Upon entering the battlefield, Etali casts the top nonland card from every player's library for free, generating massive card velocity and momentum. The deck compounds this trigger by copying Etali with cheap clone spells like Molten Duplication and Twinflame. To close the game decisively in the same turn, it integrates compact infinite combos including Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal, Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame, and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker with Zealous Conscripts. Anti-counter protection like Defense Grid, Hexing Squelcher, and Veil of Summer ensures critical combo turns resolve smoothly.
