Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mardu Fire Lord Zuko is a red-mana extra-combat deck. The commander attacks, produces red equal to his power, and his cast-from-exile trigger puts +1/+1 counters on the whole team. Avatar Roku, Firebender (including the saga The Legend of Roku) acts as the hidden commander, adding six red every combat. Exile-cast engines such as Reckless Impulse, Showdown of the Skalds, and Dragonhawk grow Zuko and feed the chain. With Ashling, Flame Dancer or Leyline Tyrant on board, firebending red from Sozin's Comet or Avatar Roku is banked across combat, letting Aggravated Assault or Hellkite Charger loop extra combats. Secondary wins are a huge Chandra's Ignition or repeated double-strike commander damage.
