Deck overview

This competitive mono-red deck leverages Magda, Brazen Outlaw as a hyper-efficient mana engine, combo centerpiece, and instant-speed direct-to-battlefield tutor from the command zone. The primary strategy accelerates on Turns 1–2 using format-ceiling fast mana and low-cost Dwarves paired with tap outlets like Springleaf Drum, Holdout Settlement, and Vehicles. Once five Treasures are generated (typically by Turn 3), Magda searches Clock of Omens directly onto the battlefield. Combining Clock with any artifact Dwarf or changeling produces infinite tapped Treasures, which Magda converts into an immediate table-wide burn kill by tutoring Maskwood Nexus and Reckless Fireweaver. Backing up this proactive speed is a punishing asymmetric stax package featuring Trinisphere, Blood Moon, Winter Orb, and Torpor Orb, which Magda effortlessly breaks parity on by tutoring directly around spell and mana constraints. Supported by efficient interaction like Deflecting Swat, Pyroblast, and Defense Grid, the deck delivers format-defining velocity, relentless stax pressure, and deterministic instant-speed finishes.
