Counting Counters by user2079663

DeckCheck Threat Index: 42

Deck overview

This Bant deck leverages Perrie, the Pulverizer to convert a broad collection of diverse counter types into overwhelming combat power. By filling early turns with permanents carrying shield, +1/+1, -1/-1, oil, charge, lore, and keyword counters, Perrie enters on Turn 4 with built-in protection and attacks on Turn 5 as a massive trampling threat. The deck complements its Voltron beatdown with high-synergy engines like The Ozolith and Resourceful Defense to ensure counters survive creature removal. Supporting protection spells like Clever Concealment, Ripples of Potential, and Teferi's Protection completely safeguard the board against exile and bounce board wipes. While it lacks fast mana acceleration or instant-win infinite combos, its dense functional redundancy, asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict, and backup beaters like Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus enable it to steadily dismantle opponents through combat damage across turns 5 to 7.
