Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mono-Black Zombie Aristocrats engine led by Liliana, Heretical Healer // Liliana, Defiant Necromancer. Its primary strategy revolves around assembling infinite sacrifice and drain loops using Gravecrawler, sacrifice outlets such as Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar, and aristocrat payoffs like Blood Artist, Marionette Apprentice, or The Meathook Massacre. Supported by fast mana including Dark Ritual and Mana Vault, and efficient tutors like Demonic Tutor and Entomb, the deck reliably establishes its core setup by Turn 4 and closes the game on the same turn with zero opponent response cycles. When combo pieces face removal, the deck demonstrates exceptional resilience through low-cost reanimation spells like Reanimate and Persist. If the primary loop is exiled, the deck pivots into aggressive Zombie token swarms bolstered by Gisa, the Hellraiser and Undead Warchief, or repeated devotion life drain with Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
