Doom (Will’s) by user2140677

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria is a four-mana Grixis engine, not a single-card finisher. The plan is a Villain-lord/discard game: every combat Doom makes a Villain connive, discarded lands drain each opponent for 2, and discarded nonlands feed +1/+1 counters, Treasure, tokens, and Mayhem revivals. The hidden commander of the deck is Glorious Purpose, tutorable by The Masters of Evil, which turns repeated connives into free spell-casting. Secondary paths include Green Goblin, Revenant with Living Laser as a discard-count combat kill, and a pumped Villain horde under The Squadron Sinister. Cosmic Cube and Time Wrap turn strong attack steps into extra damage windows.
