Pesky Pests by trashgoose

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest commands a Golgari midrange deck that converts incidental life gain into widespread +1/+1 counters across specific creature types: Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. The primary game plan develops early token generators and life gain triggers, using Blech to rapidly inflate the board into an insurmountable combat force. Secondary paths leverage aristocrats drain through Mirkwood Bats, South Wind Avatar, and Cauldron of Essence, or assemble the deterministic Exquisite Blood and Enduring Tenacity life-drain loop. The deck closes games either through massive trample attacks enhanced by Duskshell Crawler, infect via Triumph of the Hordes, or direct life-drain loops.
