Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jund combat and Treasure midrange strategy commanded by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost creatures with haste, triggering Ognis to generate tapped Treasure tokens on every attack step, and converting those artifacts into explosive mana and table-wide direct damage. Key aristocrat and artificer payoffs such as Mirkwood Bats, Ingenious Artillerist, Reckless Fireweaver, and Pactdoll Terror weaponize token creation and sacrifice, turning ordinary combat steps into lethal burn phases. Midgame mana surpluses fueled by Xorn and Bootleggers' Stash feed devastating top-end finishers including Hellkite Igniter, Depthshaker Titan, and Exsanguinate. While the deck excels at consistent combat tempo and burst damage, it remains heavily dependent on creature combat connections and vulnerable to opposing sweepers due to modest card draw depth and limited defensive protection.
