Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress and pillowfort strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around neutralizing opposing threats with low-cost Aura removal spells like Darksteel Mutation, Planar Disruption, and Pacifism. Eriette turns these defensive answers into an asymmetric protection lock, preventing enchanted creatures from attacking you while draining each opponent's life total equal to your Aura count during each of your end steps. Card draw engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Mesa Enchantress keep your hand full as you deploy Auras, while life-loss amplifiers like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Cliffhaven Vampire accelerate the clock. If opponents bypass the pillowfort or remove Eriette, win conditions like Archon of Sun's Grace and Sigil of the Empty Throne provide overwhelming aerial combat armies, supported by mass graveyard recursion spells including Retether and Open the Vaults.
