Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact blink engine commanded by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The core game plan focuses on deploying multicolored artifacts, notably five-color staples like Sphinx of the Guildpact and Infinite Guideline Station, to maximize the cards drawn whenever Karn enters the battlefield. Repeatable blink effects like Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Brago, King Eternal keep the hand perpetually full. The massive card velocity fuels lethal payoffs including Psychosis Crawler, The Locust God, and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, which rapidly translate draws into direct damage and overwhelming token swarms. The deck operates smoothly on curve, using flexible fixing like Chromatic Lantern to manage its five-color requirements. While resilient against targeted spot removal thanks to cheap flicker spells, the engine requires multiple turns of setup and remains vulnerable to mass artifact wipes.
