Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard control build commanded by Tinybones, Trinket Thief. Its core game plan revolves around deploying symmetrical discard engines such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, and Oppression to systematically deplete all opponents' hands. While opponents struggle in top-deck mode, Tinybones converts their discards into consistent personal card advantage at each end step. Once opponents are empty-handed, the deck locks down the board with Noetic Scales and converts hellbent states into rapid lethality using Tinybones's activated ability, Liliana's Caress, Quest for the Nihil Stone, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Robust board wipes like Toxic Deluge and Damnation keep creature swarms contained while the attrition engine secures complete control.
