Vren Control by DanC

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vren turns every opponent creature sacrifice or death into exiled fuel and then a growing Rat army at each end step. The deck's primary plan is sacrificial attrition: constantly force opponents to sacrifice, use Vren to get Rat tokens, and then overwhelm the table with large token waves or drain effects such as Exsanguinate and Mirkwood Bats. Secondary paths are Rat-tribal beats through Pack Rat, Lord Skitter, and Karumonix, plus a controlled resource-sacrifice angle with Braids and Smokestack. Vren is the engine and payoff, not a hidden alternative commander; there is no other face or hidden commander to route around.
