Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan focuses on establishing early Zombie utility creatures, casting Gisa on Turn 5, and using her tap ability to convert high-power creatures into wide armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck amplifies these tokens using tribal lords such as Undead Warchief and Death Baron while draining opponents through death triggers from Vengeful Dead and Ayara, First of Locthwain. It achieves steady card flow through death-triggered card draw like Undead Augur and Midnight Reaper and features resilient recursion with Gravecrawler. While the deck excels at generating overwhelming board presence and closing games around Turn 9, it is vulnerable to board sweepers and targeted removal due to a lack of haste enablers and countermagic, relying heavily on recursive engines and aristocrat life drain to rebuild and punish wipes.
