Deck overview

Bello, Bard of the Brambles is the engine of a Gruul "animate-everything" aggro deck. During your turn, every non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment with mana value 4 or greater becomes a 4/4 Elemental with indestructible, haste, and a combat-damage draw trigger. The deck is packed with exactly that kind of permanent - damage doublers, token engines, and value enchantments - so nearly every spell doubles as both an effect and an attacker. The primary plan is to deploy one or two animated threats per turn, draw cards off every hit, and multiply damage with Gratuitous Violence, Unnatural Growth, Berserkers' Onslaught, Collective Inferno, and Xenagos, God of Revels until a nearly free Ghalta, Primal Hunger or a cascading Etali, Primal Storm ends the game. Secondary value comes from Sunbird's Invocation, Wildsear, Scouring Maw, Kodama of the East Tree, and Warstorm Surge chains.
