Commander: Hulkling, Burgeoning Bruiser

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a straightforward mono-green +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Hulkling, Burgeoning Bruiser, a commander that grows each time a larger creature enters the battlefield. The deck's primary plan is to deploy Hulkling early, follow up with progressively bigger creatures or ones that place +1/+1 counters, and win through trample-enhanced combat damage. With a dense suite of flying removal, modest ramp from dorks and land-aura enchantments, and a few explore/value creatures, the list plays as a casual battlecruiser strategy. It has no infinite combos, no stack interaction, and relies entirely on incremental board presence and combat to close out games. Secondary value comes from Earth's Mightiest Heroes for cheating multiple creatures onto the field and Fertilid for repeatable land tutoring. The deck is quite vulnerable to board wipes and lacks any fast mana outside Sol Ring.
