Deck overview

This mono-blue deck commands Orvar, the All-Form to convert cheap targeting instants and sorceries into permanent token duplication. Built as a control-combo list, it slows opposing strategies using asymmetric stax pieces like Cursed Totem and Grafdigger's Cage while protecting its development with free interaction like Force of Will, Force of Negation, and Fierce Guardianship. The deck accelerates using 2-CMC mana rocks and High Tide, assembling Orvar, the All-Form on Turn 4. On Turn 5, it triggers Orvar with buyback spells like Whim of Volrath or Clockspinning targeting basic Islands or Archaeomancer, generating infinite mana and permanent tokens. With arbitrary mana and spell access via Spellseeker, the deck wins on the spot by repeatedly activating Faerie Mastermind to deck all opponents or copying Venser, Shaper Savant to clear the entire opposing board.
