Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jund midrange strategy commanded by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. The game plan revolves around deploying creatures with haste to attack immediately, triggering Ognis to generate a steady stream of tapped Treasure tokens. This constant influx of artifact mana accelerates your curve and fuels potent artifact payoffs. Cards like Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, and Hedron Detonator convert every created and sacrificed Treasure into direct life loss for your opponents. Meanwhile, heavy hitters such as Goldspan Dragon, Hellkite Igniter, and Xenagos, God of Revels convert high mana totals into lethal combat damage. Temporary theft spells like Mass Mutiny and Act of Aggression steal opposing blockers, give them haste, and trigger Ognis for extra Treasure generation. While the deck lacks high-tier tutors and infinite combos, its dense suite of aggressive threats, resilient haste mechanics, and explosive token generation create consistent, compounding pressure across the table.
