Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis midrange build centered around Sauron, Lord of the Rings. It leverages the Lord of the Rings Amass mechanic alongside high-impact creature reanimation and spell-based token generation. Early turns focus on developing mana through artifact ramp, fixing colors via landcycling, and filtering cards into the graveyard. By the mid-game, the deck pivots into casting Saruman, the White Hand, Lord of the Nazgûl, or hardcasting Sauron for 8 mana. Sauron's cast trigger creates immediate board presence by spawning a 5/5 Orc Army, milling five cards, and reanimating a massive creature such as The Balrog of Moria or Inferno Titan. Victory is achieved through heavy combat damage over three consecutive combat cycles, pushed through by trample and unblockable utility lands.
