Deck overview

This Gruul Voltron deck utilizes Wolverine, Best There Is to convert combat buffs and fight spells into rapid player eliminations. Wolverine doubles all damage he deals, allowing him to threaten lethal commander damage quickly when combined with +1/+1 counters, double strike, and damage amplifiers. The deck supports early commander deployment through dense 1-2 CMC acceleration and leverages fight cards like Punishing Punch and Kapow! to remove blockers while triggering Wolverine's end-step growth. Protection spells like Silkguard and Strength of Will defend the commander, while alternate beaters such as Red Hulk and Kratos, God of War ensure consistent pressure if Wolverine is disrupted.
