Deck overview

This Sultai deck is a high-powered competitive EDH list built to win quickly through compact spell-based combos and explosive reanimation. Its primary route to victory combines Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, creating an unanswerable same-turn win as early as Turn 2 or 3. High-density fast mana and an elite suite of low-cost universal tutors ensure consistent assembly. When the primary line is contested, the deck pivots seamlessly into graveyard reanimation, cheating overwhelming threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Vilis, Broker of Blood into play with spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead. A deep suite of free countermagic and targeted interaction protects its own winning turns while disrupting faster opponents. The commander, The Mimeoplasm, serves as an adaptable backup threat that leverages filled graveyards for utility and combat pressure without being an essential bottleneck.
