Deck overview

This Boros deck is a focused Voltron strategy built around Lightning, Army of One and his Stagger ability, which doubles all damage dealt to a player he hits until your next turn. The game plan is to suit up Lightning with cheap Equipment, deploy damage doublers (Gratuitous Violence, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight) and multiple extra-combat sources (Aurelia, the Warleader, Genji Glove, Full Throttle), then chain attacks that pile up multiplicative damage to eliminate opponents one at a time. The deck packs a dense equipment suite (17 pieces) and a robust protection shell, but it suffers from a near-total lack of card draw, making it heavily reliant on topdecks to find its key pieces. Wins are achieved through combat damage, leveraging extra combat steps and damage multiplication to turn a single suited-up Lightning into a one-turn kill.
