Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Atreus, Impulsive Son with Kratos, Stoic Father to build an aggressive, counter-driven engine fueled by Gods and experience counters. Atreus offers card selection and noncombat burn, while Kratos turns attacks by Gods into experience counters and grows your creatures each turn. Because experience counters stay on the player, your engine retains its progress even if opponents remove your commanders. The 99 supports this core with legendary Gods, proliferate mechanics, and counter multipliers such as Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus. Premium free protection spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat help defend your key turns, while Akroma's Will and World at War provide explosive combat finishes. Although the deck lacks fast mana rocks and instant two-card combos, it generates immense combat pressure and steady card advantage once its engine is rolling.
