Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie Aristocrats build led by Varina, Lich Queen. It blends aggressive tribal synergy with graveyard combo finishes. Early turns focus on deploying cheap Zombies and mana acceleration to cast Varina on Turn 3. When Varina and her army attack, her triggered ability loots through the library, generating life and filling the graveyard with reanimation targets. The primary path to victory is an infinite aristocrat loop using Gravecrawler, Phyrexian Altar, and a drain piece such as Wayward Servant or Diregraf Captain to drain the entire table in a single turn. As a secondary win condition, Rooftop Storm allows Acererak the Archlich to venture through the Lost Mine of Phandelver infinitely. Backed by solid interaction, board wipes, and mass reanimation spells like Living Death, the deck transitions smoothly between combat pressure and sudden, explosive combo finishes.
