Deck overview

This deck is a classic Jund Aristocrats engine helmed by Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. It aims to accelerate mana during early turns using low-cost mana dorks and ramp spells, establishing Korvold on Turn 4 to convert sacrificed permanents into massive card advantage and rapid power scaling. The deck leverages dense functional redundancy among sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Goblin Bombardment, Carrion Feeder), recursive creatures (Nether Traitor, Tenacious Dead), and value engines. Once Korvold is online, it exerts immediate pressure on Turn 5 through evasive commander combat, symmetric board suppression via Dictate of Erebos, and burn reach from Mayhem Devil and Ziatora, the Incinerator. The mid-to-late game converts overwhelming card draw into game-ending threats like Torment of Hailfire or colossal attackers such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger. While the list excels at resource generation and grinding out creature-based strategies, it remains vulnerable to early targeted removal and lacks stack interaction to contest fast noncreature combo decks.
