Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon tribal build piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Its primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana during the early turns with cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and mana rocks, establishing Lathliss on turn 5, and rapidly overwhelming the board with 5/5 Dragon tokens starting on turn 6. The deck leverages high-impact finishers including Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, and damage amplifiers like Fiery Emancipation to convert aerial combat and direct entry triggers into table-wide lethal damage. While the deck boasts heavy redundancy among standalone threats and powerful creature sweepers like Blasphemous Act, it remains vulnerable to mass removal, countermagic, and fast combo strategies due to a lack of stack interaction and defensive shielding.
