Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-token midrange strategy built around Aerid Konstrari. The game plan utilizes temporary and permanent clone effects—such as Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Flameshadow Conjuring, Heat Shimmer, and Blade of Selves—to target Aerid. When a legendary token copy enters and immediately dies to the legend rule, it triggers both the enter-the-battlefield and death abilities, generating two Heartwood mana tokens per copy. The accumulating artifact count fuels explosive mana production and powers up game-ending threats including Aerid's own {6} pump ability, Craterclaw Colossus, Brotherhood Vertibird, Nettlecyst, and an alternative upkeep win with Hellkite Tyrant. Protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Asceticism shield the board while high-yield card draw spells like Return of the Wildspeaker and Momentous Fall replenish resources for the final combat push.
